THE ITALIAN JOB originally from 1969 was re released again in 2024 to celebrate it’s 55th year anniversary. This release has inspired a new style version of the iconic poster. This time the image has been concentrated around what appeals the most to fans….Mr. Michael Caine and the Mini cars. Both superimposed over the colours of the union jack. Although newer, these posters are in fact becoming rarer and harder to find. The film is a caper style comedy drama centred around a huge (for 1969) gold heist that takes place in the northern Italian city of Turin. The film was evocative of British 1960’s culture and starred Michael Caine, Noel Coward (his last film roll), Benny Hill, Rossano Brazzi, Raf Valone, Maggie Blye and Tony Beckley. Also making an appearance are John Le Mesurier and Irene Handl.
