The Beatles - Get Back - Roof Top Concert. UK Quad 30 x 40
In January 1969 The Beatles gave their last live public performance by playing on the rooftop of the building that housed their office’s in heart of London’s West End. The entire session was captured on film, and has in part been used over the years in documentaries, and in a Docuseries by Peter Jackson. Then Disney decided to use the entire footage and release it in IMAX format which hit the screens in 2022. Owen from the Tordoff Gallery actually watched this performance live, as it happened back then on 30th January 1969, form the rooftop of his place of work which backed directly on to The Beatles rooftop!
