Rebel Without A Cause is a 1955 American romantic drama about the coming of age of middle class suburban teenagers. Focusing on one in particular who makes friends with other teens in his position and the taking on of gangs. The film stared the now Iconic James Dean, in the second of what turned out to be his three feature films before his untimely and premature death in a horrific automobile accident. Supporting him were Natalie Wood, Sal Mineo, William Hopper, Jim Backus, Ann Doran and Corey Allen. Also to be seen is a very young Dennis Hopper in his feature film debut. This 2005 Re-release by BFI uses the original artwork by Bridgeman Images as was per the original 1955 UK release.
