LIMELIGHT 1952 UK QUAD 30 x 40 - Backed on to Japanese Paper

£750.00

LIMELIGHT is a 1952 Charlie Chaplin extravaganza. As usual it starred Chaplin, was produced by Chaplin and was directed by Chaplin and was written by Chaplin, from a story taken from his own novella Footlights. And if that wasn't enough he also composed the film score. He cast to star along side him, Claire Bloom, Nigel Bruce, Norman Lloyd, Marjorie Bennett, his son Sidney Chaplin and the great Buster Keaton. This was to be Chaplin's last feature film to be made in the USA. This beautiful poster, composed and coloured in the typical 1950's style, shows the two main characters and the alter ego's of the leading man. Preserved and backed on to Japanese paper makes this poster a collectible piece of cinema history.
