Kes 1969 Polish B1
This is a very rare Polish poster for the “kitchen sink drama” film based on the book, A Kestrel For A Knave by Barry Hines. The film’s extras were hired from the Barnsley area in South Yorkshire for the authentic Yorkshire dialect. Several scenes were overdubbed in the film’s DVD recording to overcome the strong dialect but if a film is made about a Yorkshire town it comes with English spoken “reet good!”
