Carnage 2011 is an American black - comedy drama based on the Tony award winning play by Yasmina Reza. Adapted for the big screen by Yasmina Reza and Roman Polanski, who also directed it. It focuses on the meeting of two sets of parents who’s kids have gotten into a fight, and their resolve to sort things out as the father of one of the kids is a lawyer. The meeting then dissolves from an adult discussion to a ‘slanging match’ pitching one couple against the other, then degenerates further still until each couple are arguing amongst themselves. Good old fashioned ‘tour de force’ performances from all four actors. Great poster that defines the four actors and the changes they go through.
